Cardpool: A New System To Solve The Unused Gift Card Problem
According to some estimates, over $30 billion worth of gift cards have gone unclaimed over the last few years. This alone was sufficient for Anson Tsai and Tim Wong to create Cardpool, a startup which offers trading of unused gift cards among its users. Though not a novel concept, Cardpool believes it will stand out from its competitors on the basis of its system’s simplicity and offering a user friendly financial service.
Backed up by funding from a few angel investors and about a hundred transactions within its first week of launch, the founders of Cardpool are confident of making a mark in this unused gift card market.
