Presented by the WorkBook Project – DIY DAYS aims to answer these questions with a day of panels, roundtable discussions and workshops: A look at how to fund, create, and distribute and sustain.
ModulA.R.T. by A.R.T. Pop-up Store – Until April 18, NYC: Curated by Brooklyn-based husband-and-wife duo, Gaby and Donald Rattner look to “make modern art more accessible and interesting to the average consumer.”
A.R.T.’s a “fully customizable modular art collection” consisting of individual units that can be purchased & arranged in any quantity, and modified as your income or domicile space increase. At the pop-up, you can find 3D Wall A.R.T., hanging pieces, Mural A.R.T., funky modern wallpapers, and Shelf A.R.T. as well as modular artists’ books for your shelves that have customizable words and geometric patterns.
Preliminaries Exhibition: design at the threshold of love – April 14-19, Milan:
As an extension of a project on the theme of love, SLOTT gallery and Exquise Design have invited four designers to play out their fantasies, giving shape and meaning, breathing life into their conceptions of preliminaries. They have approached this subject from different and complementary viewpoints that together offer a panorama of creation like no other seen before. Featuring the work of Arik Levy, Jaffrain Matthieu Lehanneur, matali crasset and Florence Jaffrain.
