Intelligent Urban Vehicle Can Drive Itself

Intelligent Urban Vehicle Can Drive Itself

By Dan Gould on March 25, 2010

General Motors has announced a new electric smart-vehicle designed for future urban environments.

The EN-V, which was revealed yesterday in Shanghai, is fully electric and only has two wheels. It can fit two passengers, and produces no emissions.

A degree of intelligence is built into the car as well. It’s able to communicate with other vehicles to avoid accidents, and can navigate itself with a detailed GPS system.

Unfortunately, the EN-V is not scheduled to be released until 2030.
