Game artist Julian Oliver has developed Levelhead, an augmented reality game that explores the boundaries between physical and virtual space, offering a novel interactive experience. It’s essentially a memory and logic game, where the user must maneuver a solid-plastic cube, which appears on screen to have rooms inside of it.

There are 3 rooms which are connected by doors. The main challenge is to move small figures from room to room by tilting the cube so that they walk into an exit. The game designers have created particular doors that lead you nowhere, and some that send the character back to the room they started in, thus testing and teasing the player’s spatial memory.
