The Crown Plaza Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, has made an energetic offering to its guests: hop on an exercise bike, generate some of the establishment’s electricity and earn free meal vouchers.

The Hotel has developed the program to help reduce its carbon footprint and promote unique fitness activities to its guests. Following a short 15-minute ride, guests receive a $36 meal voucher in exchange for their labor.

Each exercise bike is hooked up to hotel generators, with iPhone attached to each handlebar display to show the amount of power being produced. Each 15-minute ride generates approximately 10 watt-hours of electricity.
