(Video) Fly Through A 3D New York City With Google

By Kyana Gordon on April 13, 2010

Google Earth has unveiled a crisper 3D version of New York City that swoops down at street level, providing an enhanced visual perspective of storefronts, residences, sidewalks, and hi-rise towers. The eye-pleasing experience can be attributed to sharp textures and the large number of structures with 3D detailing. George Fertitta, Chief Executive Officer of NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization of New York City wrote on Google’s Lat Long blog how this added 3D feature will help visitors fly through their itinerary.
