2010 ICFF: Mio’s New Sustainable Product Collection, “Design On The Go”
Philadelphia based Mio debuted a new collection of sustainably driven, innovative products that owners either wear or travel with. Mio started as a company nearly ten years ago with a goal of making sustainability something that everyone can afford with products designed to be both functional and stylish. The company’s philosophy of “Responsible Desire” is based on producing products that can be easily disassembled and recycled using existing infrastructures. Their products are the result of not only creative design but also efficient use of materials, efficiency of shipping, and a closed-loop life cycle.
