PSFK has been tracking inspirational events and conferences being held around the world, featuring exceptional gatherings in the Events section of our home page. Below are a handful of upcoming events that we are looking forward to as platforms for speakers and attendees to spread good ideas.
PAP(I)ER FASHION (April 30 – Aug 1, Zurich) “Pap(i)er Fashion” shows the fascinating history of paper cloths and clothes that, from the Swinging Sixties, first conquered America and then Europe. The exhibition at Bellerive Museum, Zurich, shows traditional examples and, in addition, current designs by star designers such as Paco Rabanne or Issey Miyake.
Inside/Out – Shantell Martin (May 12 – 22, NYC) expands upon Martin’s ever-changing, growing world in which the ephemera of the everyday is taken out of its natural world to highlight the simplest essence of the environs referenced by Martin.
TechCrunch Disrupt (May 24 – 26, NYC) TechCrunch Disrupt is the only conference that gathers both Web innovators disrupting media and technology and also executives successfully navigating disruption to talk about turning change into opportunity.
Urban Art Fair (May 27 – May 30, Munich) This May, the successor of the successful urban art show Stroke.01 will take place in Munich. The show will present the creme de la creme of European contemporary and street art
Color Foundations (May 26-28, Amsterdam) CMG’s 2010 European Meeting – Color Foundations – has been scheduled to be held May 26th- 28th in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. The meeting will open early on the evening of Wednesday, May 26, with a welcoming reception, followed by two days of speakers and Workshops and ending on Friday
