German research scientist Johannes Schöning has developed a remote interactive system using an iPhone as a controller to “paint” a lighting system on the facade of a building. Users simply have to aim the device at the facade which causes the viewfinder to show the space locally. They can then draw in this local image using selected colors and the building changes its colors accordingly.
