Foursquare Takes On Political Education With C-Span
In a move to bolster political education in Washington D.C., C-SPAN has partnered with geosocial platform, Foursquare, with a customized homepage for their partnership.
The tag line, “Washington Your Way, with a Geosocial Twist” points to the fact the cable network has embraced the importance of offering tips and information at common check-in points of interest. Topics that C-Span covers include U.S. public policy, domestic and international politics, and government.
Interestingly, rather simply sharing information in the form of text, C-Span enables people to access video content at certain check-ins as when one checks into the U.S. Capitol.
