Handlebar-Free Tricycle Controlled By Body Power

Handlebar-Free Tricycle Controlled By Body Power
Design

A radically designed tricycle that relies on the driver's body movement for steering.

Designer David Parrott has conceptualized the design of a sleek, electric assisted tricycle for adults. The Trimtab 3×3 doesn’t have handlebars; instead, it turns by relying on the body movements of the driver. It has hydraulic levers to negotiate sharp curves and an acrylic windscreen that gives the tricycle an aerodynamic shape as well as acts as a protective roof. The Trimtab 3×3 also sports a small storage compartment in the rear.
