The New York Times recently made a complaint to Apple about an newsfeed reader application available on iTunes. The newspaper complained that the Pulse RSS reader was using their publicly available RSS feeds for users. If you don’t know, you have to use an RSS reader or similar service to read RSS feeds.
Apple temporarily dropped the $3.99 application from its store but after review they returned it back. Here’s how Pulse presents the NY Times feed (and any other one) if you’re interested.
