San Francisc0-based Klout, a company that tracks influencers and impact through opinions, links and recommendations across users’ online “social graph” has partnered with Virgin America to offer individuals with significant influence free flights on the airline’s new route.
The airline, who is testing new flights between Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles will give qualified influencers free round-trip airfare, free wifi on the flight and an invitation to Virgin America’s Toronto Launch Event.
Klout measures data through user-created content, indicating influence through interaction and size of networks. It then tabulates a score as its influence metric through 25 variables broken into three categories: True Reach, Amplification and Network Scores.
