(Video) Fixed Gear Fashion

British accessory designer, Harris Elliot asked film maker Manny Bonett to produce a this film for a new H by Harris collection called Manouevre based on “the fixed gear individual. Men and women whose lifestyle is on the edge.”

Over on Dazed Digital, there’s more about the fashion designer’s approach to making film. In an interview Elliot says:

I have always been into film, a strong reference point for styling, film as a medium by it’s nature has a longevity that a tear sheet can only dream about. The film features a gang of five sartorial clad riders all on a mission to find something.  The journey takes them to the top of a car park where they perform mad stunts enhanced by fire.  the director Manny Bonnet has a great vision, and his attention to detail is very clear… Before the concept of the film came about, I knew that whatever the subject was going to be it had to have some form of movement in it. Movement as the indicator of travel…. deriving from luggage etc … I met one of the riders James on a shoot, he and I clicked, from there the idea was born.
