A product licensing extension leading up to the film’s release leads to a trio of fragrances.
The film version of the bestselling novel “Eat, Pray, Love” will hit movie theaters on August 13th, with Julia Roberts in the lead role. Leading up to the film’s release, Fresh is releasing a trio of fragrances branded with the three themes. ‘Eat’ captures the scents of Italy with notes of Italian lemon, basil and bergamot, plum, caramel, meringue and vanilla. ‘Pray’ evokes spirituality with incense, rose, patchouli, amber and musk; while ‘love’ embodies the writer’s time in Indonesia with notes of jasmine, sandalwood and mango blossom. The font used on the outer packaging uses a similar design to that used on each word on the original book cover. The perfumes will debut at retail next month.
We enjoy Fresh’s products and their philosophy, and think is a creative product licensing venture to promote both the film and the original novel. We hope it smells as nice as the packaging design looks.
