Fujitsu’s Wireless Outpatient Guidance System

Fujitsu has developed an electronic outpatient guidance solution that consists of an electronic paper display and a card for the patient. When this e-card is slotted in, the wireless electronic device registers the patient, guides them to the correct examination room, and constantly updates the wait time, their place in queue and notifies them through the visual display when they are called in by the doctor. This enables the patient to move freely, away from the stressful waiting room without worrying about missing the appointment.
