Slow Culture Meets Toy Making

Slow Culture Meets Toy Making

By Aziz Ali on July 26, 2010

Brad Denboer’s message is one that is easy to embrace, “the slower you put things together, the slower they fall apart.” As a designer and advertising professional, he conforms to the norms of his industry, but where he stands out is in his approach to toy design. His company, Audotorium Toy Co., celebrates quality over quantity, slowness over speed, and longevity over instant gratification.

Audotorium Toy Co. makes children’s toy cars that are designed according to old fashioned methods of handcrafting and aerodynamic engineering. Currently they offer The Boattail Racer, which sells for around $350.00 and comes in a masterfully packaged box.
