(Pic) Ciclotte’s $10,000 Exercise Bike

Ciclotte’s incredibly expensive, but beautifully designed exercise bike makes getting in shape a bit more visually appealing. Built out of steel, glass and carbon fiber, the Ciclotte also houses an impressive internal mechanism:

Push the pedals and the epicycloid crank system—a set of eccentric gears like you’d find in a pencil sharpener—spins the magnetized main wheel. This in turn generates a magnetic field and plenty of thigh-burning resistance.
