We recently wrote about how solar power and living off the grid is becoming a more cost effective option for home owners. However, it’s not always easy figuring out how to convert your electrical devices to a solar-powered system.

Hack ‘n Mod shows you how you can power your wi-fi repeater (along with some other device) using a solar-powered battery — with a little help from Arduino no less. In turn, you are able to extend Wi-Fi connectivity well past it’s normal reaches.
