Foursquare has introduced a new program called Foursquare For Universities that enables students, staff and alumni to connect and share information on the various happenings in their college. The new feature promises to create a fun experience for its users and will work similarly to the general platform, giving out points and badges to encourage students to ‘check-in’ to places and find new activities to do on their campus.

As of now, Forurquare has teamed up with 20 universities including Harvard and Stanford for launching their new program.
