Sharona Merlin is an industrial designer from Israel that we came across recently. As buzz around Macbook Air gains traction, here is a manifestation of a similar design concept applied to cup design.

Impractical, perhaps (though it does hold liquid). But it does act as an interesting echo of the pervasive virtualization we’re seeing in many areas of design.
