Floating 3D Touchscreen Panels
You must have seen touchscreen displays floating in thin air in sci-fi movies, but such an interface could soon be available in real life. Showcased at the Tokyo Pack 2010, the AirZero digital signage system creates interactive displays using 3D projection which allows viewers to navigate through menus and information screens floating in front of their eyes, without needing to wear any special glasses.
The AirZero digital signage is visible in brightly lit locations as well, and can project a 3D image 90cm in length.
