Japan-based One Tenth Design (or 1-10) got its name from the idea that reducing energy consumption by a tenth would improve our environmental efficiency by ten fold. Their most recent project is called Hollow.
The studio created a PET bottle humidifier that simplifies the production process for making humidifiers and aims to limit natural resource consumption. A small plastic bottle is placed on a 3-piece platform, which then converts the tap water to steam.
