2011 Detroit Auto Show: Saab Snö Hus

By Dave Pinter on January 14, 2011

Choosing not to set up a stand inside Cobo Hall this year, Saab instead created an interesting outdoor display for their vehicles located directly across the street from Cobo. The climate favored the Swedish brand’s roots with temperatures hovering around 15 degrees. Several vehicles were on display in front of a huge backdrop with two snow machines above. At one end was a heated hospitality tent that included an ice bar and lounge furniture. The stand was unconventional for an auto show and a Saab representative mentioned to us that they are planning another unique event for the New York Auto Show this April.
