The VJacket is a synthesis of open source hardware and electronic sensors that aims to revolutionise the visual mixing methods of the workaday VJ.
The VJacket is a wearable controller for live video performance. Built into the jacket are bend, touch and hit sensors which you can use to send OpenSoundControl or MIDI messages wirelessly to the VJ program of your choice
The VJacket makes use of Arduino hardware, and can plug into a variety of open source and proprietary visual effects software. Check out the demonstration below to see how the jacket’s sensors link to tried and tested VJ effects.
