In the year 1800 the world held one-billion people on its surface.  A mere two-hundred and ten years later and the global population is set to reach a massive seven-billion people.  With around five people born every second and the majority of us living longer lives in urban areas the video looks at what this means for our species and what to expect in the future.  Created by National Geographic to promote their year-long series on global population.
