Creatively bridging the online and offline worlds, Porsche recently unveiled a unique tribute to the social media milestone of 1 million Facebook fans. In a design slightly reminiscent of honorary monuments, they outfitted a 911 GT3 R Hybrid with the names of all 1,000,000 people who gave the brand a social network-sanctioned ‘thumbs up.’ For those unable to visit the car in person at its current home at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, there is a dedicated microsite where fans can search to see if their name was included in the design.
