iPhone Interacts With New Honda TV Ad

The first example of sound-syncing technology being used in a television ad.

Honda is launching their new 2011 Jazz small family car across Europe today. Wieden+Kennedy London developed an animated 60″ TV ad to support the launch. Titled “This Unpredictable Life”, the spot aims to show the challenge in developing a car to meet the needs of life’s unpredictable journey.

A unique addition to the ad is an iPhone app which allows users to interact with the television commercial. The app uses sound-syncing technology through which viewers can ‘catch’ and collect characters on their phone from the ad.
