Bike Rack Concept Scales The Urban Heights

By Don Michael Acelar De Leon on April 11, 2011

We’ve all heard of the subterranean bike parking courtesy of Japanese technological ingenuity, but a radical bike parking concept by New York’s Manifesto Architecture, takes our environment-friendly two-wheelers to greater heights–literally.

Aptly called “Bike Hanger,” the proposed concept entails attaching your bicycle to a lift and having it elevated. To bring a bike down, the rider has to pedal a stationary bike located at the bottom of the lift.
