Following recent legal battles over divulging the nutritional information of Cinema popcorn comes another assault on the nutritional merits of cinema cuisine. AMC Entertainment Inc have collaborated with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation to offer customers at their 361 theaters an alternative to the traditional theater fare.

The AMC Smart MovieSnacks is a $7 bag that includes Chiquita Fruit Chips—a natural air-popped corn chip snack—a bottle of Dasani water, and an Odwalla Chocolate Chip Trail Mix Bar. The combo weighs in at 453 calories and 11 grams of fat, including 2 grams of saturated fat.

To put that in context tubs of cinema popcorn have previously clocked in at 1000 calories. Offering customers an alternative is always a cause to be championed and AMC’s health savvy promotion has already earned them praise from Sony.
