Electric Public Transportation Comes To The UAE
As demand for a greener urban life grows, DesignLine, a global provider of green buses, announced a partnership that will put all-electric buses on the streets of the UAE. What’s really exciting is that DesignLine will open a production facility, promising to produce 300 all-electric buses with zero omissions. According to EnergyDigital, “The facility itself will be a $30 million investment with a projected $80 million in revenues per year.”
The initiative will take off by bolstering Abu Dhabi’s unique environmentally sound infrastructure and hopefully move on to other cities in the Middle East.
