The Parisian creators behind the mobile application Storific want to replace your waiter with an iPhone application.

App users can ‘check in’ to a restaurant and then order items from the menu without human table service. During its beta testing at 16 restaurants, the app is said to have considerably increased the number of orders taken at single tables. The restaurant owners yielded more profit, and the customers got their food quicker. The only real loser here was the freelance writer/ actress/waiter.

Storific will be open to all restaurants, coffee, pub and night clubs at some point over the next month.
