In many projects and ventures, collaboration is key — but not just any collaboration. Often, the right combination of personalities and skill sets can be difficult to find. Rhizome’s approach is to bring together an artist with a creative technologist to create and present new ideas at their annual Seven on Seven event, which will take place on May 14th at the New Museum.

As a special offer to PSFK readers, you can use this code for a discount: rhizomevip. Details of the event below.

Presented by AOL, Seven on Seven will pair seven leading artists with seven game-changing technologists in teams of two, and challenge them to develop something new—be it an application, social media, artwork, product, or whatever they imagine—over the course of a single day. The seven teams will unveil their ideas at a one-day event at the New Museum on May 14th, 2011.
