When Social Media Launches A Brand
A startup brand that is built around the idea that pizza could be good for you gets a positive reception in Dubai.
In January this year, PSFK friends Naked Pizza launched their first international store in Dubai. The startup brand that is built around the idea that pizza could be good for you (with the right ingredients and preparation) found their new venue a place that allowed local young people to discuss how they could take control of their diet and therefore health. This video describes some of the discussions that took place around the launch.

As N_K_D Pizza’s first store was gearing up to open in Dubai during the winter of ’11, we thought we should try and talk to the people there about our messages of health and conscious capitalism. After all, it worked for those trying to spread unifying messages of freedom during times of unrest in the region. We ended up being overwhelmed by the enthusiasm in everyone’s responses! Thanks, Dubai!
