Wieden + Kennedy spoof technological saturation with its futuristic new commercial for the 2011 Dodge Charger. Inspired by dystopian films like Brazil, Minority Report and Fight Club, the piece pokes fun at the kind of “future is now” creative technology we tend to feature here. Designer animé robots micromanage every detail of our consumer’s life, from plucking his perfectly-professional stubble to picking his outfit based on the realtime trend reports, but our hero draws the line at robot cars:

Robots can take our food, our clothes, and our homes, but they will never … take our cars.

Don’t panic! Robots defeated, the car transports him back to the present where professional drivers on closed courses weave through tunnels at 90 mph.
