
Is A Buzz In Your Pocket More Effective Than Augmented Reality?
In an interview at the Where 2.0 conference , Dennis Crowley of Foursquare said that a buzz made by the app in the pocket is more effective than augmented reality through a phone’s camera:
“The camera shouldn’t be in front of people’s faces. You get the same results if you put the phone in your pocket and it buzzes when you’re near things.”
