Advertisement showcases a novel animation method.
Using a simple machine that pops a sequence of balloons on a 200-meter-long rail, MTV Brasil created an ad with references to Slash, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, and others. The stop-motion video is directed by Dulcidio Caldeira, Andre Faria and Guga Ketzer. According to the director, “10 balloons had to be popped per second, or 600 balloons per minute” and the balloons were lined using a laser guide.
