Two, enthused Israeli parents have embraced Facebook as a literal part of their family. Lior and Vardit Adler named their newborn daughter ‘Like’ after the popular Facebook function. According to Agence France-Presse, her parents were looking for a unique name for their third daughter, as her two siblings are named Dvash (Hebrew for “Honey”) and Pie.

Proud father, Lior explains:

“We named her Like because it’s modern and innovative. I checked that the name does not exist elsewhere in the country, that was the main condition for me. When I posted her picture and name on Facebook I got 40 ‘likes.’ Considering that I have only a little more than 100 friends on the network that’s a lot.”
