Burger Roulette: Which Burger’s Fit For You?
Two Miami Ad School Berlin students, Shahak Shapira and Edi Inderbitzin, have come up with an engaging Facebook application concept for McDonald’s. The students created the app based off of McDonald’s wide array of burgers and the knowledge that customers have trouble choosing between them.
To help these consumers, instead of losing them to the frustration of choosing a burger, the app would be accessed through McDonald’s Facebook page and using a webcam, prompt the consumer to open his or her mouth as wide as possible. Based on the size of his or her mouth, the app would assign a burger. The app allows users to post to their Facebook walls and gives you the option to change their Facebook profile pictures to a screenshot of their open mouths. Although the app is only a concept, Shapira and Inderbitzin have mocked up the app being used in a video that explains their concept.
