Picture This: New Twitter Updates For Photos And Searching

By Emma Hutchings on June 2, 2011

Twitter has introduced a new version of it’s search function, which delivers more relevant Tweets and also shows related photos and videos on the results page.

The new Firefox with Twitter lets you type a #hashtag or @username into the address bar, bringing up a list of search results or taking you to someone’s profile page.

Also, in the near future, users will be able to upload their photos directly to Twitter and attach them to their Tweets from either the website or its official mobile apps. Twitter has partnered with Photobucket, who will be hosting these photos.
