Scan Your Credit Card And Make Mobile Payments With Card.io [Video]
New start-up Card.io makes it easier to pay with a credit card on your mobile phone by using its camera. The SDK lets developers accept credit card payments, with users simply holding up their card in front of their phone’s camera, framing it in the green rectangle and snapping a picture. The information is then securely processed by a third-party merchant and the details deleted. Co-founder Mike Mettler said:
It takes the friction out of having to type in your card numbers. It doesn’t require any additional hardware.
