Ford's innovative four-tiered automobile technology promises enhanced road safety, but is it enough to help motorists fully evade mishaps?

PSFK previously featured Ford’s innovative automobile safety technology for the Ford Taurus, then equipped with four systems that increase safety and vehicle proximity awareness.¬†Ford has since unveiled a Ford Explorer that contains the same system,¬†that are expected to help avoid accidents like this from happening. The system is comprised of:

  1. Adaptive cruise control;
  2. Blind spot information;
  3. Collision warning with brake support, and;
  4. Cross traffic alert
