Honda Documentaries Reveal Unusual Uses For Their Products [Video]

By Emma Hutchings on July 26, 2011

In the UK, Honda has marked its new sponsorship of Channel 4 Documentaries by creating its own mini-documentaries featuring real-life Honda customers who use their products in surprising and unusual ways.

The first, ‘Alpaca Farming’, featured Philippa, an alpaca breeder from Oxfordshire, who tends to the animals on her farm using her Honda ATV. ‘Night Fishing’ features fishermen who take their boat out at night off the coast of Brixham to catch their fish in the dark, with luminous lures.  The boat is called ‘Goldfish’ – a Cheetah Marine 9.95m catamaran powered by twin Honda BF135 marine engines.

These short films were created by Wieden + Kennedy London. People can view the documentaries in full on the Honda Stories site, as well as a range of films, articles, and other interesting stories featuring Honda owners and their vehicles. A ‘Take Part’ competition has been set up to encourage Honda owners to upload their own stories and photographs. The favourite, chosen by Honda and Wieden + Kennedy, will be turned into the final mini-documentary, giving customers the opportunity to appear on TV with their Honda.
