Amazon’s Kindle Cloud Reader is the online retailer’s own web-based version of the Kindle eBook reader that is compatible with PC, Mac, Chromebook, and iPad, delivering digital libraries to subscribed users. With iPad optimization, users can also shop the integrated Kindle Store via tablets. The local storage function offers offline reading between various devices, although the Kindle books are still limited to a set number of devices, possibly restricting users from reading them in the cloud due to over-limit. The Cloud Reader is currently not compatible with iPhones or Android-based tablets.
