Facebook’s New Feature Groups News Feed Stories By Topic

Facebook has introduced a new test feature that aggregates topics your friends are mentioning and places them in a single post so you can read them all together and join the discussion. These “posted about” news feed stories provide personalized trending topics but Facebook’s natural language processing means it doesn’t detect whether the topic is being mentioned in a positive or negative way, and whether it was actually the main focus of the status update.
