Branding 10,000 Lakes: One Minnesota Lake, One Logo, Every Day

A Minnesota native has decided to create fictional logos for every single one of Minnesota's many bodies of water.

Nicole Meyer has set herself a rather long-term creative project of branding each one of Minneapolis’ lakes, every day.

The local Art Director began Branding 10,000 Lakes to re-imagine the styling of lake logos which ‘have a tendency to be, well, fairly ugly.’ The ambitious design project will take Meyer around 27 years to complete.
