Every single window of Harrods in London, U.K., is devoted to Chanel’s latest Autumn/Winter collection. All 23 window displays have been packed with Chanel outfits, accessories and beauty products, along with animal taxidermy, including foxes, deers, owls and even unicorns. The theme Enchanted Forest was created by Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s well-known creative director and the luxury brand hopes to create a French fairy-tale setting:
Enchanted bestiary, fabled mise en scenes and a subtle layering of exquisitely refined fabris.
The inside of Harrods store has also been decorated and showcase more of Chanel’s ready-to-wear collection, accessories, bags, shoes, jewelry and makeup on all three floors. The Chanel promotion will last three weeks and it is believe to have costed nearly £4 million. There will also be exclusive designs for shoppers, such as the iconic Harrods green shopping bag that will be revamped with the Chanel logo and the fashion brand’s popular metal chain handle.
