EyeTV Mobile Brings Live TV To Your iPad 2
TV software company Elgato has announced a TV tuner for the iPad 2 that will enable you to receive DVB-T transmissions and watch live TV on your mobile device. EyeTV Mobile fits into the iPad 2′s dock connector and the free app provides access to features including a program guide and the ability to pause, rewind and record.
The television signal comes straight from the mini aerial so you don’t need an internet connection and you can watch unlimited live TV without touching your data plan. EyeTV Mobile starts shipping in Europe and Japan soon at a price of €99.95 and there are plans for an ATSC version for the U.S. and Canada.
