This New York office space has a wall that features the city landmark made out of real living plants.
Inside the Open Planning Project‘s offices is a specially-designed bookshelf that does more than hold books and office supplies. The 84-foot long bookshelf spans a whole wall of the office, and its walnut sections were cut to resemble the streets and corners of Manhattan. The most eye-catching feature of this bookshelf map is the scale model of Central Park, recreated with real plants. Also referred to as a ‘living wall,’ this design includes the hills and ridges of the huge city park, as well as the ponds and lakes within it. The offices were designed by LTL Architects.
