PSFK has compiled a roundup of the newest bikes that are powered by more than your feet on the pedals. Check out models from Brompton, Stealth, Conscious Commuter, and PiMobility below.

Brompton’s Folding Electric Bike

Makers of the classic folding bike have revealed their “Project X” bike, which is electric while still foldable. Few details about the foldable eBrompton are currently known, but it is supposed to go on sale in Germany and the U.K. next year, and worldwide in 2013.

Stealth’s Hurricane

The Hurricane, from Australian electric bike company Stealth, is one of the most powerful electric bikes. It weighs over 100 pounds and goes as fast as a motorcycle, but can still be driven on the sidewalk.

Conscious Commuter’s Folding Electric Bike

Conscious Commuter’s bike combines the classic step-through bike frame with the power of the electric bike and the convenience of the folding bike. Designed over the course of two years by Gabriel Wartofsky, this electric bike successfully transforms the bulky design of many electric bikes into a sleek and functional one.

PiMobility’s PiCycle

Designed by PiMobility founder Marcus Hays, this hybrid/electric bike is equipped with PiFi, an embedded wireless technology that enables the bike to sync with the rider’s smartphone. The bike sends information about its battery health, battery charging frequency, motor and controller experience, and more. This information is useful for maintenance, as well as theft recovery.
